Hotel Du Parc

We had a wedding welcome party at Hotel Du Parc. I worked with Luigi on the planning, and he was very responsive to all of my questions. Since I was planning this from the USA, I had no idea what to expect as far as what the venue really looked and how the food would taste. Let me just say that everything was spectacular!! Luigi and Giuseppe were so kind and attentive (all the staff was great). The food was delicious, plentiful and displayed beautifully. The venue is right on the lake so the view was amazing. We couldn't have asked for more and are forever grateful for the wonderful memories we will have from that day. THANK YOU Luigi and Giuseppe!

We have booked a table for 15 people outside on the terrace as a special dinner for our friends and family. Due to the weather variance the hotel/restaurant have moved us inside. This is fine, if course. I have asked my assistant/coordinator to set up/decorate the table with few candles and menus. We planned a lovely little celebration. When we have arrived the staff (rude) took me and my husband aside and has blatantly asked us to pay EXTRA because we were sitting ‘separately’ in a dark lit OPEN room with no other tables occupied. I have explained with reference to email correspondence that we have NEVER requested a separate room. In fact the room they put us in had other tables available but is is surely not our fault the restaurant was pretty empty! Yet the staff was adamant we had to pay extra. I have explained with reference to my booking and emails chain that we have NEVER requested a separate room! We have requested a table to fit 15 people! The approach is clearly a money making machine of which being in Italy on numerous occasions we are aware of. However, did it spoil our dinner? YES. Was the service good? NO. Was the food good? NO. Did we have to pay extra for nothing but being told upon arrival we had to pay extra just like that? YES. Would we recommend the restaurant? NO. Avoid by all means. Poor service, fabricated extras, poor food.

We paid for 3 nights 300 per night! 900 euro Same evening we asked to book for us one more night and we will Pay in the morning, because we went to the pool in sweaming suits without any money. The receptionist confirmed that she will book the room for one more night . At the morning we came to pay It was another women on the reception, she said that our room is booked for another people and we have to move!! She was very rude. We didn’t feel ourselves as a guests We felt like we have to be happy that they let us to live in the hotel! The management in the hotel not exist! They even didn’t apologize! They don’t care. Just business! The same women screamed on my husband when he went out with car from the parking. It wasn’t simple and he used the space in front of reception.
